District competition for HOSA students was held at Aikins High School, Austin, on Jan. 23 and 24. Students competed in a wide range of skills tests and competitions. Six LHS students placed and are advancing to state competition to be held in McAllen, TX on April 2-4.
Congratulations to Maggie Smith 5th place Medical Math; Adele Maldonada 2nd place Pathophysiology; Kathleen Laster 2nd place Clinical Nursing; Kelly Stifflemire 1st place Sports Medicine; Breana Zak 2nd place Outstanding HOSA Chapter; Monique LeBaron 2nd place Interviewing Skills.
