In a sport that’s all about the survival of the fittest, the lady lions showed how to unleash the animal within by starting off with a dominating win over McNeil. The 2011-12 season’s coaching crew consists of head coach, Jonathan Lamb, and Assistant Varsity Coach “K” and Coach Kyla mills. With their coaches pushing them to play a faster game and getting results, the team couldn’t ask for a better support system.

Predicting the season outcome Corinne Cisse, senior, said, “If we keep working hard and we don’t settle… I think we have a bright future.”

Sara Epley, senior, said, “I feel like we’re going to have a good season, because we have a positive atmosphere within the team—” At that point Quincy Clendennen, senior, jumped in to finish her sentence: “And no one player is better than the other.”

The girls are almost half way through the first half of the season and are off to an amazing start.
